90 Ball Bingo Games Play Bingo Games with anything and any where90 ball bingo is another popular type of bingo games traditionally played in the United Kingdom, Australia and parts of Europe. Quite similar to the American style 75 ball bingo, where players buy their bingo cards, and then mark off the numbers that are called, eagerly anticipating to complete the winning pattern before anyone else does.
However, while the basic rules and foundations of the two games are the similar, there are many differences in terms of patterns and structure of the bingo card. A 90 ball bingo card is comprised of three rows and nine columns. Each row contains five random numbers ranging from one to ninety. This means, each row has five numbers and four blank spaces. The first column contains numbers between 1 to 9, second between 11 to 19, third between 20 to 29 and so on until the ninth column which contains numbers between 80 to 90.
Unlike 75 ball bingo where one could experiment with the patterns, 90 ball bingo winning patterns are always the same and there are typically three winning patterns in each game. Each pattern has a specific prize associated with it. These patterns are - single line, where a player has to mark off any five numbers in a single horizontal row, two lines, where a player has to mark of 10 numbers in any two horizontal lines and the full house, where a player has to mark off all 15 numbers on their bingo card.
A 90 ball bingo game is almost always played with a strip of six tickets. A strip contains all 90 numbers distributed throughout the six separate tickets. So, when a player plays a bingo game using a strip, then every possible number from 1-90 is daubed at every bingo call.
